01
Do we have to take all six areas of management?
No, you can chose the areas of management that add value to you.
02
What size of yacht do you take on?
We are managing yachts 20-80m.
03
Can you take on a yacht still in build?
Yes, we would recommend that management is in place 6 months before delivery to allow your operational structure to be established.
04
How long does it take to hand over from our current manager?
We can take on most aspects straight away once you have cleared AML/KYC, for financial management it can take a a week or two to get cards onboard the yacht depending on where you are.
05
Why are your fees on the website?
Because an owner should be able to expect a clear service at a clear price. Answer the questions on the quote builder and you will see the monthly fee, line by line, before you speak to anyone.
06
Is the fee cheaper if we take more than one area?
Yes. Two services carry 10% off, three carry 15%, and full management across all six carries 25%. The discount is applied in the quote builder as you select, so you can see what each addition actually costs.
07
What is not included in the monthly fee?
Crew is charged per head, at €125 per crew member per month, with €200 per contract issued or terminated. Refit and maintenance projects are quoted separately against the scope of the yard period. Third-party costs — class and flag fees, surveys, travel — are passed through at cost.
Travel & subsistence are charged at cost where required to perform our obligations.
08
Do you provide the DPA and CSO?
Yes. Designated Person Ashore and Company Security Officer cover is part of Compliance & ISM, with a named individual and 24/7 emergency response behind the role.
09
What does "100% digital" actually mean?
The safety management system runs in software rather than in binders on the bridge. Drills, checklists, certification and audit trails are recorded as they happen, which means an audit is a matter of granting access rather than reconstructing a paper file.
All financial records are also held digitally for ease of audit.
10
Does it matter whether the yacht charters?
It can change the compliance requirement, its more important that we understand if you are not commercially registered and are planning to start chartering so we can assist with this transition.
11
Do you recruit crew?
Crew Administration covers the employment side rather than placement: Seafarer Employment Agreements, monthly payroll and certification currency. We work alongside whichever crew agency you prefer.
12
Who employs the crew?
That depends on the ownership and flag structure, and it is settled at onboarding. Whichever entity employs them, we issue and administer the agreements and run payroll against them — €200 per contract issued or terminated.
13
Do you attend the yard during a refit?
Yes. Refit covers specification, yard selection, on-site supervision and variation control from contract signature to handover.
14
Who chases warranty claims after handover?
We do, under Technical Management. Open defects, status and warranty claims raised are set out in the monthly Defect and Warranty Report, so nothing quietly runs past its warranty period.
15
What reporting do we receive, and how often?
Five monthly reports — financial, technical, ISM and compliance and crew, in a standard format agreed with you at the outset. Examples of each are on the
Reporting page.
16
Who is our point of contact?
Operational Management gives you one named person for every aspect of the yacht's operation. Without it you still deal with the same small team rather than a rota — you can see who they are on the
About page.
17
Is the quote builder figure the final price?
It is our published rate for the scope you selected, and it is what we expect to charge. It is subject to the onboarding survey and to KYC and AML screening of the ultimate beneficial owner — if either turns up something that changes the scope, we tell you before anything is signed.
